She never listens to me (why would she?)

So SWMBO (Chris) has had the Daytona for about 6 years, for the past couple I've been nagging her on numerous occasions to give the Street Triple a try. "It would be more comfy and much more suitable for the bumpy nadgery roads down here in Cornwall,.... and you're not getting any younger you know"
.....(big mistake).
Anyway we met up with you guys at the GMU'16 and after the Thursday ride-out was chatting in the bar with Lou and Nigel, not 10 minutes in and they make exactly the same suggestion......
"Oh that's a good idea, I'll have to give it a try" she says.
WHAT!!
So a couple of weeks later my 94R's in for 1st annual service and I arrange for Chris to have a test ride on a Street675 while we're waiting.

So, comes back with big grin on her face "Brill, you was right dear, I want one"
Bugger, that was unexpected, didn't have the phone on record, opportunity of a life time missed, refuses point blank to repeat the statement. (I was right!!)
..........Even after buying this a few weeks later!


So now it's a proper "His n Hers" ride-out.

I did suggest she might want to join the forum...
"Why would I be interested in the ramblings of a bunch of old farts?" came the reply.
Can't argue with that (I've learnt not to )

The Daytona remains in the family, son is now the proud owner.

Yep, both got red Shoei GT Air's, left over from the matching red Multistrada I traded in (couldn't afford new ones after the (financial) hit I took on the Ducati).
No embroidered pink flowers on my leathers though.

 

First impressions can be sooo misleading.
