Well I booked the Tiger XC in at Staffordshire Triumph for it's service and first MOT a couple of weeks ago and I would wait whilst the work was being done.

That day was today and guess what I ended up having a ride on....................................

What a stonking engine, that torque, wow. The popping on the overrun
The suspension was a little hard for my liking, but its fully adjustable.
I didn't experience any vibs through the bars as some have.
It felt quite small once sitting on the bike not much bigger than my Yam aircooled RD's that I own. OK a bit bigger but 'Not a lot':)

Would I have one,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, for someone who's been riding since 1966 when the cafe race scene was still in full swing it looks drop dead gorgeous  waiting time for my favourite colour silver is October so I wouldn't be buying one until next spring time.
My only problem was after about 1/2 hour I was aching between the shoulders . There's always something that has to spoil the occasion. My size and old age :(.

Did I mention the engine ;):)

    Dave.

You learn something everyday DD, never realised the old salt and vinegar liked the Thrucy 'R' ;):)

Renthals, no no no they'd spoil the looks

Rentals, yes yes yes they'd possibly make riding comfortable :)

    Dave.
