morning all, when i bought my bike back in april from cubo in huddersfield they done a full service and check over on bike before it left them. now I'm ashamed to say i haven't ridden the bike much due to working a lot and family commitments but i did notice the service light come on, i did ring them and ask what they done for service and happy with that but they did say they haven't got the tools to turn the light off. is this something a triumph dealer will do for a small fee? or can it be done by myself?
Yes, the spanner symbol is to highlight that a service is due, nothing to worry about if the service has been done, just annoying to look at. I'm told it can be turned off using a laptop and ECU software or take it to a local Triumph dealer if Biglads 3 time starting doesn't eliminate it.
thank you chaps for the quick replies, when i finally get round to going out on it again , ill ride by a tri dealer and see if they can turn off for me.
Can anyone tell me how to turn off the service spanner light on the dash Triumph Tiger sport 2014,without plugging it to the ecu or visiting the local dealers
In a nutshell you can’t. It’s either dealer or Tunecu Android app is £11 ObdII Bluetooth adapter is £15 for a good one. Dealer is £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££
No worries, it’s a minor inconvenience having it on but that’s all. It’s a two minute job to do if there’s anyone near you with Tunecu
