Scrambler 1200xc - Tall Flyscreen

    Hi all. New to the forum. My ride is a Scrambler 1200XC 2020, bought new in 2020. Awesome bike that continues to impress me after each ride. Mostly commuting TBH, but happy of my choice when I get on one of those bad roads. When I bought it, the only option for a screen was the short flyscreen. Talking to the dealer this week and he tells me that a taller flyscreen is now available, but hey guess what? It might not fit on my bike based on my VIN number. I am a bit disappointed that they would come out with a new equipment but not make it universal to all Scrambler 1200. Anyone has any experience in fitting the tall flyscreen on a 2019 or 2020 model?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    It's a while since your post but this might help others........
    I'm 5'10" of average proportions. I just fitted a Dart Marlin screen. It works pretty well for me. The nice thing about it is that, being attached using the headlamp pivot bolts, you can alter the angle of attack quite a lot to get an air flow that suits you.
    I just did a stretch of road at 65mph into a good 25mph headwind and it was very acceptable. Obviously I could tell it was windy but there was no buffecting at the angle I had the screen at. 1000% better than the unadjustable Unit Garage screen that a lot of people on forums rave about.
    YMMV of course.
