Anyone know of a manufacturer doing a really sturdy rear rack for the 1200?

I'm using www.perunmoto.com stuff on other bikes. Truly excellent.

-Would like to find something tough for the scrambler too.

talk to Ricardo at Akurat out of Costa Rica, his stuff looks pretty robust and he's reasonably priced. I'm waiting on a set of pannier racks from him right now. You will have to look him up through Facebook though,

That looks neat but it's an awful lot of money for a bit of bent tubing IMO. Why not have a go at making one!
I'm no fabrication expert but, on a slightly smaller scale I made a rack for my Street Scrambler, primarily because I couldn't find exactly what I wanted off the shelf. Scaling up with bigger tubing wouldn't be difficult and would, in fact, be easier to weld.
