I am contemplating getting the esystem Scottoiler with the dual feed for my Bonneville T120. First, is this a good idea? Second, as several other folks have posted in various forums here, I don't need anything else on the handlebars. Is there any reason the electronic monitor/controller thing MUST be on the handlebars? Could you put it under the seat for example and just check it every once in a while? Thanks for any comments or suggestions you might have.
If they do one for your bike, Would the gravity one be any better, no electrics and you can keep a visual check on the reservoir?
Paul, what were your objections to the electronic version? the website makes it seem like it would be so much easier to use and more efficient. Thanks.
No objection at all. Efficiency is the same . The gravity set up is cheaper and simpler, just one twist of a wheel to alter flow. The electronic set up is fiddly and requires scrolling through various menus to alter settings. NOT easier, I just found it unnecessary.
Personally I've never managed to get my Scott oiler to work correctly. It either lubricates nothing or my driveway.
esystem was great on the busa but there is another without the display though. Sure, a tad salty price wise but works great (according to the reviews) You just adjust the drops per min. simple http://www.scottoiler.com/product/xsystem/
