Has anyone tried one of these? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Scissor-...477375?hash=item5b4305cc3f:g:M10AAOSwgeBaZdBM I don't have a centre-stand, and my paddock stand from my previous bike doesn't fit, so thinking about one of these.. I like the idea that it can be used in multiple places under the bike.
Same one here a bit cheaper https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorcyc...508423&hash=item41e3c7d3a8:g:9EQAAOSw~8ZZz0Xg I've got one of these http://vi.raptor.ebaydesc.com/ws/eB...ategory=43998&pm=1&ds=0&t=1532016994000&ver=0 Used to work a treat when I had a PoS Bonneville
I’ve just got one of those But you can get it cheaper than that Had to modify mine to get it underneath my Speedmaster
Looks OK, its got a 1100lb lift weight, its cheap enough........ I'd go for it EDIT: See post # 12 below. It is crap. Do not buy
Haven’t tried it yet Gonna test it tonight I’m pretty sure it’ll be ok....seems well built and a mate at work has the exact same thing and uses it to lift his Rocket 3
Can’t see a problem with a lifting capacity of 500kg!! It’s only like what my MOT tester uses, albeit briefly, to lift the wheels clear of the ground.
Sorry Dilligaf cant answer that question at this time as its to early to say as - he's only just bought his 1200 speedmaster
DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE Went to do the first lift with this piece of cheap Chinese shit and the bloody thing just collapsed without even getting the back wheel off the table Luckily NUDGER was in the bump lock thing on the front wheel or I shudder to think what could have happened BE WARNED ITS SHITE
First have a big JD, then - Raise an issue with the seller, send him your photo's full refund coming your way dont settle for less mate, Any luck you'll get to keep the stuff you have as costs to return to china (i'm sure you can rebuild it much chunkier and safer)
Bollocks, placed the order. Glad your bike is OK, I guess I will have to do a lot of testing before I put the bike on it!
I bought one of these it’s been great as long as the frame stretches under the bike. Had one for 4 years now and still going strong
I use one of these on the Bonnie, works a treat https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01LKOPKEU/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
That’s what failed on me Exactly the same lift mate BE CAREFUL The nut on the end has a tiny roll pin holding it on This is what failed it ripped the threads out of the winding nut causing the lift to collapse
Been using it for a couple of years now on my Bandit 12 and the Bonnie with no problem. I'll check it out though....
Ever diminishing Chinky standards. Some stuff from China is very good and some is made from "Cheese Metal" Bit like a takeaway, cant tell till you take the first mouthful!
