But with even more 'good griefness' is that Hardley Movingson have put in a patent for sticking a supercharger on their v twins. You never know they may be as popular as the Dyno Rod was.

No sniggering at the back. It's quite a good webpage with some interesting stuff on it, worth a look or three or even none

Some of our TRMCC rocket riders have fitted super-chargers and they sound great.:imp: Hard to tell benefits on such an awesome starting platform

I really like superchargers, they look, and sound cool as well. I wish I had enough mechanical know how to build them.
I suppose what I was asking was - is the news really that bad for Harley? Maybe some of you over the pond have ears nearer the ground.
Do Harley really need to invest, and spend, all those dollars in R&D to bring out a ready made (and in my opinion awful looking) chopper, a water cooled dyno rod thingy, a desert scrambler and an electric battery pack whatsit, while having a really honest base level great historic motorcycle. Are they really looking the right way to save themselves?
Do potential Harley riders really want all that electronic gizmo stuff? Is it the environment requirements?
Royal Enfield seem to be stealing the classic scene these days with air cooled basicness, why can't Harley make their way with the classic stuff? Those old knuckles were just great looking engines, as were those 74s we all wanted but couldn't get insurance for.
I would certainly be up for a modern knuckle that ran well, pulled well, and looks the bollox. As do others:
