Hi guys, new user here. I'm after some advice for routing the wiring for a TomTom Rider on a 2020 Tiger 900GT, also can I use the accessory fuse under the seat for taking the power from? If this power source is OK, would I also need an in-line fuse? TIA

    Hi and welcome.

For my TomTom I spliced a switched live in the headlight assembly, and connected it there. The wire from the TomTom is fused itself, so no problems there.

    Welcome to the forum
Does the TomTom have a switched live feed as well as positive and negative?
My previous Garmin did and I piggy-backed that off the live horn feed.
This won't work on the GT Pro so I took my switched feed from the yellow tail light wire under the phone charger tray.

    Hi there!
Welcome in and as for the tomtom, take any feed that switches off when the bike does!
My tomtom rider 450 mount is still "alive" if it's connected to the battery directly so is easy to forget that when switched off (i just unplug the mount from the supply).
As @steve lovatt and @Vulpes have both suggested, great places to take the live feed from.

Hi and welcome, in case it is similar on a Tiger. I took power from the horn on my Street Twin as it is an easy route up. Piggy back spade connector for the live and ring connector (horn bolt) for negative. Personally like to be able to reverse things!

Some Triumphs have an alarm blanking plug, usually under the rear seat. I don't know about the tiger 900 but its a good place for a switched live. If it has one, there will be 2 jumper wires, one of which will be a switched 12v
