Featured Rocket 3 (a Bsa)

1978 (note the Mk1 transit in the background) giving the chop a bit of a wipe down in the rain. Not long out of the SADF and back home in good ol' Blighty. Proper handfull that bike was , especially round bends

 

This was my T150 chop way back in the mid 70's

 

Wow, nice chrome, molding, proper made zorsts and springers. Mine were mostly meccano
Those were the days when bike shows were part of custom car shows.

This is the latest - not for long though. I want the engine for something else so it'll be in bits soon

Really like that. Nice clean lines and looks good to ride unlike the early radical choppers which could be a bit of a handful. Didn't stop me riding the length and breadth of the country though.

 

No B/S here, but I really admire people who, like you, can do this sort of work. I can do basic maintenance on both of my bikes, but what you and others do, is a level way higher than what I can do. Love it.

 

I'd just like to say that no original T150 Triumph Trident was butchered in creating this motorcycle. I managed to acquire a T150 engine and proceeded to create my vision with only an engine as a starting point.

 

i wouldnt hold it against you even if you did butcher one, if it becomes something that you ride.

all of our machines are going to be scrap metal sooner or later. the only value they have is what they mean to the people that ride them.
