I somehow managed to fit my Oxford soft panniers wrongly one day on last weeks Forum Scottish Road Trip. The result was a hole burned through the bottom of one side that sits above the exhaust. On unpacking my gear today I found that the hole went straight through and went into my plastic bag of dirty t-shirts, burning a hole in my 2018 Triumph Forum Scottish Road Trip T shirt. Irreplaceable it is. Good job i've got this one.
That reminds me Andy i'll have to send you a bit of that waterproof yacht repair fabric for your trousers..look out for it in the post,If you havn't recieved it within the week let me know as i'll have forgotten again
i have a waterproof suit that i got years ago and did the usual thing burning the leg at the bottom on the exhaust,so i bought some black yacht tape off ebay. i had a look at it the other day and i can't see where i repaired it! i never wear it now as it's a hassle getting it on and off so i'll stick a photo of it up here later and whoever wants it can have it for the price of the postage
