Hi I'm looking at a triumph street triple but I'm on a2 licence and was wondering if you can restrict it or is it not possible if it is can anyone recommend a brand or kit for it thanks luke
http://www.triumphinstructions.com/proddocs/a9618079-en.pdf Triumph seem to do one from a very quick interweb search Hello, btw.
One of the new Street Triple models is a low power one for A2 licence holders. http://www.triumphmotorcycles.co.uk...018/street-triple/variants/street-triple-s-a2
The new Street Triple comes in an A2 variant, with a 660cc engine rather than the 765cc of the full power version.
Pop in to Pure Triumph Woburn Luke and speak to Paul our GM (not Tues, that's his day off). He'll advise you. I'll make you a brew if you come on a Monday, Weds or Friday (though I seem to work most days atm).
hi the one I've seen is a 2014, the post doesn't say what Kw the bike is. is there a way off finding it out or are all the street triples the same for that year
We are open 9-5 on Saturday. Just go to the Parts/Service desk and speak to Dale. If he can't help he'll get Paul over. I'm not working but will be popping in to clean my bike late morning so ask them if I'm out back. Saturdays the cafe is staffed so you'll have to pay for your brew though - weekdays we man the kettle so it's complimentary.
Hey Luke, you'd not long left when I got to Woburn this afternoon. I saw your bike out the back ready for pdi and a wash 'n polish. Nice choice. Paul tells me there are three kits available with various levels of restriction and that he will phone the manufacturers on Monday to get the low down and call you back. Sounds like a result mate. The offer of a brew is still open
hi Rich thanks for your help with this bike stuff cant wait to get the bike .I'm coming down Monday providing the weather is ok to get my bike valued so probable see you then if your working Monday
@Rich Bryce Hi do you know if Collin called up the manufacturer and found out if the kit works with the motorbike. Thanks
Paul was on the case. I didn't ask cos I thought you were coming in. Paul's off Tuesday so you could call Colin, or pop in, and ask. Paul was pretty certain there wouldn't be any problem getting a kit.
