What size wrench so you need to remove the bolt/ cap on the forks? I noticed I can't get a socket in given the handlebars. Can anybody provide suggestions on how to do it? I'd also like to change the fluid without removing the forks. Is that possible? Any suggestions?

You can access the fork cap by unbolting the handlebars and moving them out out the way. Nothing else needs to be disconnected. You could also drain most of the fork oil by using a syringe and long capillary hose.
However, you will do a more thorough job by supporting the bike and removing the front wheel then one fork at a time (it keeps everything aligned with triple trees, headlight mount etc.,). The cap is spring loaded - made worse by any weight on the forks - so the bike wants supporting anyway. And you might as well change the seals on a 6/7 yr old bike which means an impact wrench (air gun) to undo the bolt in the bottom of the fork leg. There are other ways to get that bolt out but since you are asking the question the answer is not suitable for you! You need to get yourself the Haynes manual!

as a baseline reference what oil would you say triumph used on the 2014 tbonneville? I'd like to go a little thicker but I need a reference point without tons of experimentation.

to be honest the T100 forks are not very sophisticated, so any good quality 15 or 20w fork oil would be ok.

I changed my front fork springs with the tec progressive springs, but have lotsWlots ofIof questions. In the OEM parts catalog I only see a spring on one side. On both fork legs I simply unscrewed the cap. I removed the spacers, the washers, and springs. I then simply replaced everything in the same order. Did I miss something? This is a 2014 T100.

Yes both forks are the same
and your change to the TEC spring kit sounds about right.
If you followed the TEC instructions that should be good.
Isn't the front end of the bike working better now with Tec upgrade?

Yes, I feel a slight improvement. I will put it to the tests next Saturday. After buying the springs I noticed they offered a kit with the adjustable cap. I assume this adjusts the height and tension and correct? Is the image I attached the replacement cap? Tec has yet to reply to any of my emails.

Yes that looks like the caps, you can also use the Chinese ones from eBay? about less than $20? Just make sure thay are for your bike or a similar triumph model.

I found some of these shaving on the spacer on both forms. Is this from the aluminum cap?

Probably from the caps then; have a look at the first few threads on the caps,
