Hi not sure how many new speedmaster owners there are on the forum, but had mine a week and I'm seriously thinking about swapping the standard seats for either the comfort or brown quilted ones. Has anybody either taken these on delivery or swapped them since getting their bike? Thoughts welcomed...... Wessa
Hello Wessa I have the comfort seat, along with the Highway Inspiration Kit and it’s a worthy upgrade for sure, definitely for my wife with the pillion comfort seat and deluxe backrest. Makes the difference otherwise we weren’t getting the bike. I swapped the handlebars for the Bobber bars and with the forward controls makes it more maneuverable, flickabke like the Bobber (previous bike sold for this Speedmaster) and for me, a better looking stance. Also, for others that have asked about the tall windscreen, it is tall but starts low on the forks so comes up to about my neck which is perfect and it’s quite a distance away. There’s a YouTube review that states it is flimsy and possibly useless in buffeting wind, but I disagree. My upper body is protected on the highway very well. Get the seat upgrades for sure!
Hi Wessa, I have the 'comfort seat' on order. When I bought the bike a few weeks ago, Staffordshire Triumph hadn't got any - and they still don't, which seems odd. In the meantime, my posterior is having to get used to the standard 'non-comfort' seat! Beerman
I have the comfort seat. I understand it's much better than the stock, but I'm not convinced yet. Still some more long rides to be sure. I'd like to see what Mustang or Corbin could do with it.
