Hi all. Dead quick one - any special tools required to remove the rear wheel on a 2021 Speed Triple 1050 RS? Got all the usual stuff, plus the stand etc.

    Thanks in advance

You’ll need something to remove the wheel sensor, that’s the one people sometimes forget, along with the shim that fits between the sensor and the bracket that’ll probably end up somewhere on the floor!

Eh? To remove the rear wheel?
You’ll need a long breaker bar to overcome the 145Nm holding the nut on. Didn’t ever touch any wheel sensor taking my Speed Triple rear wheel off.

Seems you are well on the way just take it easy and if in doubt take some pictures as you dismantle.

Do not put the bike in gear to try and remove the main nut...you will bugged up your gearbox

Either through great dexterity use your right foot on the rear break pedal while using a 36"/3ft/1meter breaker bar...or use a friend

Keep the nut, conical spacer and washer in the same order, there is a slight difference in the washer and it must go back on Facing the same way it came off
