    Hi all,

My Sprint ST 1050 came fitted with the pannier rails but I don’t currently intend to use the luggage so would like to remove it. It looks pretty straightforward but is there anything I need to know? It has the sliding mechanism under the exhaust too. Are there any bolts needed to fill the ones created by removing the rails?
    Thanks!

Mine came without, so I found & fitted some. To fit the bolts, I had to remove several plastic bungs, which destroyed getting them out. You will need something to fill the holes, either bungs or black bolts. To fit the slider, I had to remove the tail plate, so no doubt same to remove.

Not difficult, but did take time. At least you won't need to re-tap threads!

I found fitting details online, somewhere.
    Hope it goes well.
