Just a quick reminder to all to check your oil, especially after riding it a little hard.

Checked my oil a couple of weeks ago and after covering around 1000 miles it was time to change my oil. Level was way below minimum and only took out around 2 litres when I did my change. Admittedly the oil was a little on the low side last time I checked, but didn't imagine it to burn that much that quickly.

Have since read that it is quite normal for these bikes to burn a lot after a fruitful ride, while cruising steadily can see you using no oil.

Just for information, mine's a late 955 Sprint, but can imagine being applicable to other machines.
