I planned on swapping my shock over today 2010 speed triple every one including the Haynes manual says it has to come out from the top l just can't see how it's possible. the only way I can see how it comes out from the top is to remove the undertray and the rear subframe. I still think I can get it out from underneath anyway I have given up now I will try again over the weekend

I did it on my 2015 with no issues. Removed the tank, undid the relevant bolts and it comes out of the top. You have to wiggle it a bit because of the reservoir on the top of the shock. I have the Triumph service manual and it says to remove from underneath.
