Hi All Got a problem that I cant seem to fix As above, I had a lucas 525 and eliminator on and the rear light stopped working, the brake light works, changed bulbs 3 times all fuses ok. Changed back to original triumph rear end and cluster still nothing. Everything else works apart from rear riding light. not a great one with electrics, I can flick a switch and change a bulb so simpletons speak if you can! Thanks fellas in advance
Ok! I've sorted it, like all electrics its been a pain but this was simple, eventually! having traced cables, re-placed the original triumph back-end checked all fuses, replaced bulbs, replaced fuses, scratched my head then my *rse, checked inside headlight cluster, did continuity checks on fuses. put it all back together and kicked the rear tyre. $I noticed that the park, position light had now gone out! so I checked that and it didn't seem to be blown, so I went back to the fuse, looked fine but decided to do a continuity check all the same, seemed fine...but wait it wasn't ,the buzzing stopped, tried again, no continuity yes continuity. chucked it put another in everything is fine, apart from my sanity. I guess somewhere along the line I must have fixed it but then blown the fuse which I had just checked so created another problem. 6 hours pfffffff!
