    Hi, Hello, Bonjour ,Hola, Namaste,

This is the rear light, rubber mount, and the stud bolt that fits on the end and clamps to fairing panels. the mountings are rubber stalks (4) and the studs disc seems to glue to it. these have come away .
This does not seem up to the normal standard of fixing, so my question is, is there a more secure way to fit this and if not what glue works best, rubber to metal?

Not sure Jez if you really didn't hear or you are just taking the piss. But anyway, what I heard him say is "Cork" which is a term for sealant, used a lot in the boating industry.

Del-boy again 11 min in, I think I will take his advice, bought the bolts and washers, also bought a second hand light from e-bay, so belt and braces, and to top it all , bought epoxy this morning, its all good this way I get out on the bike while waiting for e-bay

I just wonder if the Del version will have enough flex. I glued the original and it seems solid, so Im a bit 50/50 think I might put back the repaired one, to give it a try.

The epoxy seems to be really firm so have replaced the old rubbers. good to go, and if it does not hold I will have the replacement by then.Double bubble dozboy
