I keep reading reviews of these now that they have finally landed in the UK, wondering if it'll satify my offroad/trail riding urges. Even had a test ride yesterday.
    Thoughts?

...and before anyone suggests a Tiger instead, too tall/expensive/heavy for what I want :)

True, I guess, but it was only a shortish road ride. Suspension and handling was good, and managable when standing on the pegs doing tight turns. Crap front brake though, and difficult to get neutral, but overall, I could get use to it. And the price is right!!
Guess I'm just looking for some feedback to tip me one way or the other lol

Here you go, The Missenden Flyer will tell you. Best bike reviewer I've come across.

I think it was Bike magazine that did a comparison test which included the Himalayan. They thought quite highly of it.

All the reviews are favourable and it does seem to be just the tool for what I want, but yes, am concerned about the possible lack of build quality, particularly with all the 'teething' problems it seems to have had so far. I'll try not to succomb to temptation for the moment and keep an eye on its progress :)
