I didn’t know about it until you mentioned the issue, so thank you. Can’t imagine @Bikerman meant harm or insult. We all know or don’t know stuff - a generalisation as I know that I don’t know a lot - that list of unknowns grows daily... All my dogs are (or were) trained as gun dogs and apart from a peculiar (and out of character) incident with my dinner once they also know to leave my food and the cat food alone 24/7. I doubt the steak incident will be repeated. Thankfully for me rapeseed isn’t a big deal around here but I will watch out for it. CB
Not many Labs that can be left with food exposed and not take a nibble. Somehow we managed it. Admittedly they walk past the bowls and pretend not to look at it. But they could snaffle it down but don’t. Even when we’re not there.
So I looked up Port Lincoln 'cause I'd never heard of it. The Port Lincoln webpage on Mr Google has this: First on the list is eating seafood, then second on the list is being eaten by seafood. Blimey, just so far away from here (in more than one way)
A Palestinian man drives his car, which was damaged in an Israeli air strike, as he heads to a garage, in Gaza City. A demonstrator holds an animal's heart as protests enter their fourth week with a new national strike called by workers' unions, students and organizations demanding a series of social changes, in Bogota, Colombia. Israel's Iron Dome anti-missile system intercepts a rocket launched from the Gaza Strip towards Israel, as seen from Ashkelon.
An Israeli military artillery unit fires a shell, as seen from the Israeli side of the border with the Gaza Strip.
Was up early and out with the camera this morning. This is from Ballintoy, with the sun rising behind Rathlin Island.
Yeah - best of luck with the op., Dawsy. Hope all goes well and that you enjoy a much better view of the road ahead!
I’m pretty sure that my wife is paying our friend to take me out for exercise. Today we walked up Win Hill This is the view across Ladybower Reservoir Mam Tor to the left, Loose Hill in the middle Toward and beyond Edale, Kinder Scout in the distance For some reason I seem drawn to wizened old lonely trees. Hope Cement works to the left. A rare photo of me in my 24 year old paddock jacket, I would have tucked in my jumper if I’d known I was going to be papped. A lamb.
Your wife is paying someone to take you out? Sorry m8, but my experience is that my Mrs is genuinely over the moon to get me out of the house. Indeed she encourages motorcycle riding (the faster the better) and wants me to take up other dangerous sports such as free fall (no) bungie jumping, cricket (using live hand grenades), and 400m crocodile and piranha tank hop, skip and jump. The only thing she hasn’t done is employed someone to be my friend and take me walking. That is clearly the next and final step in the process.
