New owner of a 2019 Street Scrambler, love it so far. New to this forum as well!

After its first wash (didn't use a powerwasher or really scrub anything) a small piece of rubber dropped off the bike and I have no idea where it should go or its significance. My guess is that it covers two empty bolt holes above the radiator but that is just a guess. Any suggestions? Should I worry about reattaching this?

Also related if the rubber does NOT cover those bolt holes should I be worried about water entering there? Seems odd that they are just empty...

    Pictures should be attached, thanks!

They look as if they are for an accessory, may be engine bars?? rather than a piece of rubber why not put a couple of short bolts in there? That will stop any water or muck getting in there.

Think them holes are for a Triumph tank bag strap. Have the same on my speed twin. As for the rubber don’t worry. Every time I work on my bike I have bits left over. Makes it lighter !!!

Looks like it lives exactly where you're pointing use some carpet tape and stick it back on
