About to take delivery of a Thruxton R, any advice on where to mount a 1" RAM ball ? I was either thinking of the pinch bolts on the bars or the redundant R/H mirror position..
Used the same on a previous bike. On the Tuono, just took one of the pinch bolts on the bars out, and replace with longer one.
That looks like a nice clean install. Is the yolk nut a decorative cover for another fastener beneath, as with my KTM and various other brands, or is it a functional unit needing proper torque? I’m thinking I may drill and tap the nut to allow mounting a quadlock base.
