You can check the radon gas levels in your area here:- https://www.ukradon.org/information/ukmaps I just heard about this on the radio today and thought I'd check my postcode out which came out at 1 - 3 %. Not worried as at least I've got a chimney so my house has fairly good ventilation and is not virtually hermetically sealed like some.
None of them unfortunately, just lung cancer from Radon daughters (decay). Radon gas isn’t really the problem. I used to measure it.
