I'm taking the crash bungs off my Daytona. As they are mounted on the front engine mounts using the original Torx bolts from the inside of the frame it looks as though I have to remove the rad so I can get a bit in the bolt.

Anything in particular to watch out for, or any handy tips to share before I get elbow deep in coolant??

Well that’s a first - a resounding silence on here!
Wish me luck, I’m going in

Hiya, only just seen this. What year Daytona are you talking about?

I never saw this either but there's nothing onerous about removing the rad, at least on the "curvy" Daytona. The awkward bit can be bleeding the system of air when filling it up.

I had no knowledge of this so didn't think it was appropriate to reply but as you're asking.........I don't know ;);)

    Thanks for the support ;)

It’s the 2001 DSSA model, so not curvy..... I know it’s pretty easy to remove the rad, I only asked in case there’s a trick to keeping air out/ coolant in.

    Cheers

you may get away with leaving the hoses connected if you only need to move it a bit off the mounts
