Hello Everyone Last night purchased a brand new Triumph QS for my 2014 Street Triple. I was promised delivery this Wednesday. So weather permitting I shall fit it and give it a go this weekend In the past I have owned Healtech QS and 2 lots of Translogic QS and ridden a few bike with other sorts of QS. I found the Trans to be the smoothest out of all of them but couldn't justify spending £400+ for a QS anymore for a road bike which only gets ridden in dry weather. So bought a Triumph OEM ones brand new for a very good price. I will keep you all posted
Got one on the wife's Street Triple, it's a great bit of kit and works perfectly. Be even better with an auto down blipper but for the money it's great.
^^^That's good to know RH.Cheers buddy. I am very much looking forward to it. As long as the shifts are smooth between 2nd - 6th gears above 4000 rpms........I will be happy
Forget between 1st and 2nd, unless you want an unhealthy clonk from the gearbox Had a Triumph QS on all three ST's I have owned. Great bit of kit for the money!
^^^ DD....Make sure to try on a very early Sunday morning out in open where there is nothing but open fields AGAIN Please do let me know when you are ready to try it......I'll stay indoors on that day
Voila....Received it this morning I shall get busy this weekend http://www.directupload.net/file/d/4942/4o5h7eml_jpg.htm http://www.directupload.net/file/d/4942/b8hnpzbn_jpg.htm
The Triumph QS is made by Translogic and the shift rod will not snap. You can buy a thicker shift rod direct from Translogic for about £25 if you're paranoid.
Fitted the QS today. Took her for a short blast. Good news is it works But now I need to adjust the shift pedal. The manual says I have to remove everything to adjust the rod The length should be 203.5mm. I have to figure it out
I had the Triumph QS on my 675R, loved it, looks like the same set up on my 765RS also loving it, couldn't see me riding without one now. You don't have to be nailing it, you can still use the QS just poodling around when changing up. If wheelies are your thing, it is easier to keep it up (ahem) when changing up with a QS. I tried my mates R1M that has been modified with the auto blipper gizmo for down changes as well, you can programme how high you want the wheel to lift on it, oh man that is some serious fun!
^^^^ This QS is an addiction. I'm having lots of fun with it. It's the sound when shifting.....it is definitely something to love
Had the OEM one on ,my STR 675R and had an Annitori fitted to my K5 Gixer. I sold mine from the STR then ended up swapping the bike for the 675 Tona so decided to try the Healtech one, I managed to find one removed from a 2017 Blade on the 1000RR forum for £130 and just had to buy the correct loom from Bikers Discount Store which cost me £43 extra so I lucked out a bit on that one. Love the adjustability of it using the iPhone!!! What a superb idea. You can even adjust the sensor threshold on the app! Also very easy to fit, look how the sensor fits to the bike, very neat! If anyone is considering one it's as good as the OEM one in my opinion. Its tiny!
^^^ I had the healtech on the K6 but had some issues. The best QS I owned was the one I purchased from Translogic. It worked flawlessly on my speed triple
