Having fixed my Sprint  l got up at a decent time to get in a proper test ride. For no real reason l decided to ride to the Puerto de Linares. I know a good chunk of the route so no need for a satnav, just my emergency map in my inside pocket. The pass is 1666 metres above sea level although didn't feel it, lots of meadows and cattle grazing. The route over the pass to Rubielos de Mora was absolutely blinding-the road looked like they finished it yesterday! I did one photostop just past the summit which l've popped on here. Bike was A1 throughout so a good morning's work. And pleasantly cool in the mountains :)

Had a few little rides since but by way of a sign off, had a cruise along the coast before filling the tank and putting her to bed for a couple of months. TBH the sea has been too tempting these last few days. Should be back second half of October, be good for riding then. :)
