I'm looking for a project bike for my teenager. Any age, any condition. We live in Essex but can travel to pick up the bike. Would love if you could send couple of pictures.
    Many thanks

Im afraid we are looking something from the 70s-80s-90s with a budget around £2000 (depending what comes with it).
Yaya rider, your T100 looks amazing but its a bit on the expencive side.

I think anything Triumph from the 70's or 80's will be way beyond your £2000.00 budget unless it's a complete basket case. Early 90's would be your best bet - the early Hinckley Triples - Tridents and Sprints would be achievable.

Probably selling my Trident within the next month if that would be of any interest to you.

Apologies - I've just seen that the thread is titled Project Bonneville, not any Triumph as I first thought- It's too early in the morning for this!

Andreas, just be careful if you end up looking at an early 70s Bonneville purporting to be a 750cc jobbie. The first 750s were actually 725cc, or thereabouts, for about a year before going to 749cc, or whatever they finally became. I think this would be about 1972/3, possibly even 1971, but I'm sure you could do some digging to find out details. Sorry I can't be more specific, but the 725cc bikes do trip people up a bit when looking for engine spares.

Lot of work needed with that one. More than he was letting on I bet.
