I'm removing the wheels from my 2014 Speed Triple ABS to have the tires replaced. I've ordered all the proper tools, but I'm having trouble finding the proper torque settings for the front axle, pinch bolts and rear axle nut. I believe I've found them, but would like confirmation of the following: Rear axle nut: 146nm Front axle: 65nm Pinch bolts: 22nm Short of buying the whole service manual (which I'll eventually do anyway), I'm coming up short of a way to find these specs posted anywhere!
Yes, it's a bummer that Triumph don't include these in the owners handbook, they just want you to take it to your dealer for absolutely everything (which is ridiculous). I've not seen any download of the manual for my 2015/16 Speed 94R but found one for up to 2005. Muzhik I think you're in the right order for torque settings, I've just changed my tyres and used the following:- Rear axle nut: 146nm Front axle: 61Nm Pinch bolts: 19Nm Caliper bolts: 40Nm There will probably be some variation depending on forks/brakes fitted for R and non R models. The biggest concern is the fork pinch bolts, when I was on the Ducati forum there were a number of owners that had problems with Ohlins forks where the bottom casting cracked due to overtightening, so be careful! (Pinch bolt torque is etched on to my fork leg....I wonder why)
I'll have a look tonight when I get home, seems about right. I had some confusion over the calliper bolts so checked wit the Triumph mechanics and it was a lot less that I'd been told.

Taking the piss? (just noticed your location ) No need to remove brake disks or abs ring, better left on for balancing. You will find a spacer on each side when you remove the axle, no need to take them with the wheel.
No piss-taking here (had to look that one up, finally to be sure I got the meaning right). I just try to fit in, linguistically, so I'm not so chastised as a yank Years ago on a primarily British Nurburgring forum I was ridiculed to no end for commenting that I eagerly anticipated getting my car on the pavement at the 'ring. "Pavement" to an American NOT meaning sidewalk. Thanks again for the info!
