I saw t'forecast for today, saying it was gonna be mild, windy and t'odd shower, so I thought I'd come to work on mi bike, seein as I've only ridden it once, up to now. Went in t'garage last neet, took cover off, gid her a wipe down, and put optimate on t'battery. Got up at half five this morning, and it wasn't just raining, it was torrential! I still hoped it would stop before I get my lift at half six, but no, the bastard stuff was still piling down!!!!! Just to rub it in, it's glorious bright sunshine now!!!!
I use an app called 'Dark Sky' very accurate with a detailed rain outlook for the next hour Cost is about £3 for a year, it has proven very accurate for me, meaning rain has stopped by the time I have got my kit on if timed right.
Better to be pissed off and dry than pissed on and soaked! Unless of course you like that sort of thing!!!
