Quite a bit of snow still about there. Great photos BTW, hoping to get there next year, hear some of the high mountain passes were only opened up two or three weeks ago

Richard there were a couple of passes were we road like big wusses.. Low cloud, snow, slush on road fogged up visors and little in the way of barriers to stop you ping over...
When I could not see 5M in front of me the pace was very sedate.....

Great shots, it makes me feel cold just looking at the photos, you would think it was winter there! How did the bike perform in these conditions ?

Bike was ok... I was not pushing it... 1750 miles and wad quite comfortable... I had already changed tyres to RoadSmarts as Priellis are not good for long trips....

To be fair it was not very cold.. As you can see I had all the gear on... 1 pass was very cold but that was because I had summer gloves on, once I changed to the winter gloves I was ok...it was fairly cold up the top of the passes but once down the bottom it was fine and mostly dry... Well worth a trip....
