I think we are just missing the evidence!!! No place like here to show off such a delight without upsetting anyone!!! (Oops, my bad… that’s 1948! I’ll have upset someone…)
Actually, I think we are onto something here… a thread dedicated to great motorbike noises… check out the overrun on this!!!
CALLING @darkman - please report immediately to this thread with a sound clip from the T120 TT Bonnie ....... Oh, and some video, too, if you can. TA.
Oh yeah, crazy ozzy bloke as I remember, lopped a pair of cylinders off a Rolls Royce Merlin supermarine and squeezed it in a bike… 5000cc V twin… what a fecking beast… it could suck a hedgehog up off the road and spit it out the exhaust whole!!! (Bit oily and Burnt round the edges though)
and anyone else whose bike makes a great noise… especially you @Phil mills as you started this thread!
can’t Edit: @MICK64 no need to tell me I’m an annoying twat. It’s been said before and I totally agree.
You will want to turn the sound down, because the wind noise is terrible. But this is my old tractor.
This site baffles me. Some of my replies end up going to the wrong place ?even the wrong thread, on another subject.
Tickover was set a bit fast!!! Seriously though, the shield and bar have made some glorious noises in their time! No a bad effort, but I stopped as the wind noise rose!
The site stores your draft responses and often gets a mix up with your intended post… especially when you quote someone
The only one i have Adie is of when first built and out for its first run, sounds far better now its run in.
I've just creamed my jeans! AGAIN! That is such a beautiful looking machine that sounds as good as it looks - maybe better. Thanks. But get out there on the next dry day and get a new recording clip, please.
