Tiger 800 Pannier Rack Compatibility?

Does anyone know whether the pannier racks from a 2018 Tiger 800 XRX will fit a 2020 Tiger 900 Rally?

I'm looking for pannier racks and bags and found some for an '18 - wondering if they'll interchange with my bike.

I found a set of new, unused racks for a '20 on ebay and bought those, so I think I have the situation handled. It's interesting that there is enough generation to generation change in the frame and subframe to prevent interchangeability, but that's the motorcycle business!

 

Yesterday, I mounted the Outback Motortek racks I picked up on ebay. Very solid racks and a really excellent fit - very little jiggling needed to get everything fit in place with the bolts loose and then tightened up. I made a bracket to mount a Givi tool box on the inside of the left rack. Very happy with the quality of the racks and the hardware provided with them - it all seems first class.
