Another little job finished off today for a mate, primer, course silver flake base coat and three coats of Candy and 2K clear coated after all wet on wet, really looks good outside in the Sunlight
It might have some more colour on the sides and stripes yet, i told him to play around with ideas and if he wants i can add it later.
Very nice job, obviously done in a proper garage workshop as there’s paint trestles for bonnets and doors loitering in the background!
Beautiful paintwork, darkman. I love that color. What's it called? Looking forward to seeing it again if the owner wants anything added.
Yes i worked for them years ago but still do the odd few jobs for them and they are kind enough to let me do my paintwork as well.
Its called candy orange Sandi, its sprayed over a course silver base on this one and every coat changes the tone as it gets darker with each coat.
How do you tape around the filler? I did my cb360 and the vapors were causing the paint to peel around the filler neck. THX Great job!
I just tape outside of the seal on the filler cap and seal the edge by brushing a little clearcoat around the edge after painting. Also don't use fuel with ethanol in it.
