    Hi all,

I'm looking at ordering an R & G single sided paddock stand for my 2017 Speed Triple R.
Despite searching the internet, I'm struggling to find out what pin size is required.

Plenty say the 27.5 is correct up to a 2015 model but nothing from 2016 onwards.

Any of you know the answer??

    Cheers

I use an R&G Elevation stand with a 27.5 mm pin on my 2016 - it's a really solid stand.

I have the front stand one too, but it requires rubber cup adapters because the Ohlin fork legs don't have holes to locate the cone type fittings. The cups (more like platforms) work fine.

I always buy cheap paddock stands as figure if they need bracing I can just get my welder out and put a few bits on, but in all fariness never have to do anything to any I have bought.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141445048492?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT I bought this back in January and it's done exactly what its supposed to, I would buy again and recommend.

on the front end I use http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorcycl...hash=item35ed232e7b:m:mLdzWqSQ7dObYekEjFXgFCg

I prefer headstock stands over ones that fit on fork legs, the only minor point to note is, that I found I needed to remove the mudguard as contact is made when trying to get it in and out on the triumph (not so on other bikes I have used it on cbr1000rr / ducati monster ). but with that minor point I would still recommend.

Thanks for that. The rear stand is almost a hundred quid cheaper than the R&G and I'll only use it occasionally so I'll give it a try!

As stated by Base and Gled, I also purchased a warrior single sided stand from ebay for my Tiger Sport and it works a treat, very stable and great price.
