Although I'm based in the north west I use my old 955i Sprint ST in Scandinavia.
I have had it for over 15 years, it still ticks all of my boxes puts a grin on my face and munches miles better than anything else that I have tried.

I have a question though - now that the beastie is based in vikingland I want to swap the speedo to km/h. Is it just a matter of slapping on a replacement clock or is there other mystic sensor type witchcraft involved?

    All help gladly welcomed

I could do, but I would like to do the job properly. There are km/h markings in the centre but only the MPH scale is visible at night.

Welcome mate. I’d suspect that the speedo would be a straight swap. I can’t see that the drive mechanism would be any different for a kmh clock, it’ll just be the clock gearing that’s different.
    Is it a cable drive?
Let’s see a pic or two of your steed too. :grinning:

Yes it would just be a straight swap as your speedo runs of the front wheel via an electronic switch so I can't see it making any difference in the clock. Welcome to the Family by the way. Do drop us all a picture of the beast. Still my favourite Triumph why they went to 1050 I will never know the 955i was an exciting bike and yes I can see why it would still give you that grin factor.
