Went to Oliver’s Mount today in a group of 6 bikes - a mixture of BMW’s, a Honda, a Suzuki and my Tiger 1050. . We parked near the cafe but when we went to leave I couldn’t deactivate my alarm and immobiliser. As a result I had to push then freewheel to the bottom before it would work. After pushing it for about 1/4 mile the course manager stopped me and told me that the telephone mast next to the cafe often affects bikes in this way and some (HD mainly) have to go to the dealer to have the ecu reset. So don’t stop at the cafe!

Been threatening a ride up to that very cafe for some time. I had same problem in Spain due to jamming signal being transmitted by a police station, my host told me. Had to press the fob right into the seat and managed to disarm it. Once out of town, happy days. :)
