    I’m starting this thread as a place for information on old mates. It’s not a place for meanness of spirit and personal jibes! If you want to do that, start your own thread...
    Anyway, this came about due to a couple of reasons happening at the same time;
    1). Whilst recently perusing the list of notable members, I noticed @Dougie D hadn’t been on since March. I recall him saying he was being really busy with work and then forum silence? Does anyone know him? Is he ok/well?
    2). On one of the other forums I frequent (music) I came across @jezzasnr. We’ve had a good chin wag about guitars and playing and music in general. He would like his best wishes conveyed to you all and says a remote “Hello”. It sounds like he’s not riding at the moment, misses his bike and might get back into it when the kids are older.

    I too am in touch with a couple of Forum members that for one reason or another have dropped off the site, @Dave C & @Glyn Phillips both came to watch me race & friendships forged as a result, it is nice to keep in touch with them. I also keep a personal friendship going with others outside of normal Forum lines of communication.
    It is a natural way of Forum life that people drift in & out, I see nothing wrong with keeping a connection going outside of this platform if you want to. :)

    Dougie D is fine, he's just taking a break for a while.

    Not been on here for long enough to have had anyone drop off the radar but it's a good idea. I have been a member of some other forums for years and Jeez! Those forums have had a fair number have dropped out or dropped off their perches over the years and it's often down to a "Haven't seen such and such for ages" before anyone really knows they are gone.
