I already need some expert advice from the knowledgable members. I have just developed a leak from the stator wire rubber grommet in the alternator. I recently took this off to paint so there's no surprise really but wondering if this can be fixed without taking it off again? I was thinking of throwing a load of gasket silicone down there and praying to whoever is up there.
