Hi guys, today my Oberon fuel cap arrived and I was really excited mounting this nice peace of Alu. Whilst mounting I realized that the original surrounding seal/rubber (sealing up between tank cap and tank sideways) did not fit. Has anybody an idea which seal I could use to close the gap between the outer ring of the tank cap and the tankbody ? It's an unpleasant gap and open door for water... Thanx for your comments!
I think you just leave it . It's not that big and you hardly notice it .there should be drainage in the well around it. Pretty sure that was the case when I fitted mine.
