Is anyone else having a problem with the thread notification emails? One just landed in my inbox informing me of a reply on the thread I'm watching. When I went to the thread the reply in question was posted at 09:44 yesterday and I'd already seen it by lunchtime yesterday as I check in fairly regularly. Not the first time it's happened. On other forums, or is that fora?, I use the emails are pretty instantaneous.
Apologies to all, I've posted this in the wrong group. It should have gone in suggestions and feedback. Perhaps one of the mods can shift it.
Threading my way through this none threaded thread I got lost and un-threaded myself, now I'm just a pool of thread on the thread bare floor ..... ?
Mines had 30 inch bottoms with a 4 inch waistband with 4 buttons either side! Lord Anthony was the make had the 4 inch platforms to go with it
And despite all the replies to this, or is it that, thread I have not yet received a single email telling there has been a response. Ho hum....

Would you believe it. Several posts and no notification an capt responds from the other side of the planet and I get an email notification before he's had chance to take another breath!!! Go figure....
You have to go into your preferences (highlight your name top right ) and tick that you want email notifications..i would imagine most folk don't do this as if you log on you get a notification ( flag top right beside your name)

Done that Dougie and email alerts are checked. I do get email alerts, have done from day 1, it's just that mostly they are days late by which time I've already logged in and seen the reply. Getting the email makes me think there's been a new reply when there isn't.
you might be better just unchecking the email alerts (i did, as i get too many emails as it is),and just log in to see if you have any replies via the flag beside your name
