I live in North Yorkshire Jon, but due to the size of our county I'm not close by to you. I live over on the East coast near Filey. I you ever plan on a trip over here give me a shout, you would be welcome to drop in for a brew. I'm not really into group rides myself, I prefer to go out on my own or with just one or two others, but hopefully someone a bit closer to you will chime in soon. Happy riding mate.
