    Well the season has finally arrived for NG Racing and in turn me :party:, starting to feel the excitement & nerves :eek: :poop: a bit as it gets closer to my first ever race! o_O

    I am at the test day on Friday 15th for some final preparation, then first Formula Prostocks Bandit race is Saturday, we get qualifying plus 2 races Sat and 2 races Sun.
    We are normally out fairly early on the race card so if any of you are coming to watch you'll need to be there sharpish, there are plenty of other classes out there, full details at below link;

    http://www.formulaprostocksracing.co.uk/

    If any of you are attending :eyes:, pop into the paddock and say Hi, I am #93 on the black and fluorescent yellow Bandit, don't forget to post some photos if you come!

    I can feel your pain Bill, lol, I'm sure after you've got that first race under your belt you'll take to the series like a duck to water, most importantly go out there and have fun, don't forget to have the catering manager keep some Hob nobs back for the Castle Combe round :p

    Bugger. Would have loved to come & spectate as I live only 30 minutes away but unfortunately I’m away in Portugal for a long long weekend. Wish you all the best.

    Cheers Dave, feel better after actually getting some testing done, my son gets married the weekend after Brands, Mrs Billy has given me the warning about getting too carried away :eek:
    I am sure we’ll be fine for hobnobs at Castle Combe, thinking of asking McVities to sponsor me!

    I'm sure if you contacted Mcvities and explained the Hob nob thing they might at least send you few packets, all the very best for the first round Bill and for your lads big day too, proud dad time :p

    Donnington 11th & 12th of May, after that it's Cadwell in June, there's a link to NG Racing on the first message at top of thread, the whole seasons dates are on there, but basically for you the 2 closest track were the first 2, shame you can't make it. Go visit you friends in Chippenham again in August, we're at Castle Combe!

    There’s always next year, you’ll be defending the title :yum. And yes they only live 30 mins from Castle Combe, I’ll see what I can do, he’s a motorcyclist as well, so he might be interested

    Mrs Billy is worried that you get too carried away not at the races, it’s if you eat to many Hobnobs and you won’t fit into your wedding gear :grinning:

    Ken, I like your terminology ‘he’s a motorcyclist as well’ none of this modern biker jargon :eek:

    Motorcyclist rule :grinning:

    You know what to do Billy so just let it happen. If you get nervous, throw up in your helmet before the race. You'll never do it again. ;). Should we get someone to tie the hobnob to the string dangling in front of your bike?:p

    Thanks for your err, kind words of encouragement!
    The hobnob thing wouldn’t work, I would just stop & take it off the string then scoff it :yum:yum, :idea: maybe a hobnob based bonus for lap times or race finishes :D
