Hi Guys, thought I'd join the forum and introduce myself. My name is Bob and I ride Triumph 800 Explorer which I love. Before this I owned T120 Bonneville Black and Harley's both here and in SA. Over the last few years have taken up touring and the Explorer is ideal for that. On that subject I'm looking for advice on best ways to fit TomTom start on the bike. Any advice would be appreciated. Bob Batcherlor. Welcome to the family. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and show the inmates your steed. Great intro by the way. When I fitted my TomTom I had the dealer Bulldog do the wiring which they wired into the ignition so it works with the bike. Regards & Ride Safe. Joe.
Hi Bob. Kind of did my own thing mounting my Garmin on my old Sprint. I machined up my own ball mount on my lathe and made a rod to go in the unused mirror mount on the left hand control. Just thought I'd throw in a different idea. ...J.D.
