    Hi,
My name is Dave and I purchased a new Bonneville T120 in September 2022. I have owned several Triumphs including a Sprint 955i and Tiger 1050.
I am not new to motorcycling as I have been riding for 61 years.
However my latest purchase, the Bonneville T120 has been the most unreliable Triumph to date.
I am currently waiting for the local dealer to collect the bike for repair, under warranty, for the well documented gearbox downshift problem.
As the Forum threads have gone cold on this subject I would like to ask whether the problem has now been permanently fixed by Triumph?
Does anybody know whether the gearshift shaft has been redesigned or is it still a temporary fix.
Is the only permanent fix to sell the bike.

Welcome in! I can't help with your question I am afraid, but there is plenty of knowledge and expertise on here so hopefully someone will be able to.
