I'm thinking of buying a Tiger 800 XCX that was first registered on 10 April 2017.

It only has 6000 miles on the clock and in great condition and comes with Triumph aluminium luggage.

I've read the the models changed in 2017 so I'm trying to establish if this is a late 2015-2016 model or an early 2017-2019 version

The display on the bike I'm looking at doesn't appear to be the TFT version so I'm thinking the bike is a late 2015-2016 not an early 2017-2019.

Can anyone confirm for me, also what are your views on this bike and anything I ought to look out for when I'm checking it out.

Hopefully I've attached a link to some photo's of the bike.

    Welcome to the forum.

Just check out whether there was a head bearing issue as it's a bit grey, but I seem to recall there were quite a few owners having problems.

Torquey motor, but not really suitable for serious off road "adventure" as a package, despite the hype, as far too heavy and poor ground clearance. A lot depends on your riding ability and what you actually want it for?

It does make a nice sit up and beg B road ride though.
