hi guys new to group only got my Daytona sunday 24th march so had it 2 days but bloody crashed it today because of an asshole van driver pulling out on the car I was following.the car was just overtaking the van and I was behind car not to close luckily when van decided to pull out to overtake car in front of him.so car I was following had to slam his brakes on luckily I swerved to the right and missed car but caught curb and come off just missing telegraph pole, anyway screen smashed and right hand fairing damaged. my bike is an early 05 Daytona 955i in red. im really struggling to find replacement right hand fairing and they seem to be stupidly expensive. is their any where that does after market fairings for 955i Daytona???? cheers peeps gonna go and sulk now.
Chipmiester. Welcome to the Family. The good thing is you can talk about it. There was race fairings I saw some time ago. Not sure what model but will try to chase it down again. Or perhaps you might find one on fleabay or amazon. Worth putting a wanted ad on there. And there are some great repair boys out there. I know that's not really helping but best I can do. I do hope it gets sorted for you as I have been there myself and know how much it hurts. Meant to say Gumtree not amazon. Regards Joe.
cheers guys. love the bike and cant believe this has happened.seen a couple on ebay but silly money 150 for a used primered one is ridiculous and don't even have vent cowl on them. will have to keep looking and hope something turns up

well guys went for the primered original fairing for 150 and for 80 they will spray it tornado red.gave me a chance to strip bike and have a good inspection and bike seems tidy just got to wait for all the parts to turn up, just struggling with the fairing side vent and thanks for help and welcome guys
