    Morning,

Am a newbie here and to Triumph bikes. Always had Jap bike and one unfortunate lapse in judgement BMW (never again), just sold it and now looking to buy something different like a Daytona 600. If anyone has one for sale, let me know.

    Hi and thanks.

There was no mechanical problem with it. It was more a problem with me not liking it. The engine sounded like a strangled scooter, thought I was going to fall off round every corner. I just did not enjoy the 13 months ownership of the bike. It was a F800ST. Started first time everytime, never missed a beat, just did not enjoy riding it.

Thats the silly thing really, I should have booked a test ride at the BM garage but did not bother. Have learnt from my mistake with that one.

Welcome in ! I can relate to owning a bike that was bought and stood for 6 months, drove it home from the dealership and maybe gone out with it on two occasions. I was spoiled for choice though. Fortunately got every penny back when I sold it onto a private buyer. Learned my lesson then and swore that I would never be bullied into buying again. Some sales guys can really put pressure on a potential buyer. Good luck with the hunt though. Take a decent test drive, dont rush into things.
