Hi, the name is Paul, hail from Melbourne Australia. Born in Nottingham UK
Currently riding a 2008 Rocket III Cruiser, previously owned two Daytona 955I's and a Suzuki. Love the fantastic sound of Triples.
Keeping the Chrome 'clean' on the Rocket is problematic, as it seems to pit easily..

Welcome aboard Paul, hope you enjoy the forum, as a Speed triple owner I'm unaware of the chrome pitting but others will be along shortly that I'm sure can shed some light.

Welcome aboard Paul mate. Have you tried regular applications of chrome polish to leave a protective seal? Any chrome will eventually tarnish and pit if left to the elements.

Welcome to the Family Paul. When you get chrome bit you should beeswax them leave it as long as you can and wipe it of. It seals the chrome as it tends to be porous that should last for about a year.
